Why Colombian Coffee

Why Colombian Coffee?

Colombia is known for producing some of the best coffees in the world due to several reasons:

Altitude: much of Colombia's coffee growing regions are located at altitudes above 1200 meters above sea level, where cooler temperatures and specific climatic conditions at those altitudes promote slow growth and full development of the coffee, resulting in greater complexity of flavors.

Climate: Colombian coffee growing regions have a balanced climate with regular rainfall and constant temperatures, without extremes of heat or cold, or prolonged droughts, which is ideal for coffee cultivation.

Coffee Varieties: Colombia has a wide variety of coffee varieties, including the famous Arabica variety, which is known for its smoothness and balanced acidity.

Coffee cultivation and processing: Colombia has a long tradition of coffee production and has developed agronomic practices and coffee processing techniques that have been perfected over the years. Additionally, careful care and selection of coffee beans are done meticulously to ensure quality.

In summary, Colombia has the ideal conditions to produce good coffee due to its altitude, climate, coffee varieties, and coffee cultivation and processing techniques.
